Has anyone done a wall or anything with 4 mj 18's yet? im kinda curious if anyone has and what type of box they decided to go with. Figure with the 3 for 4 deal someone must have put 4 in a van or suv!

I'd suspect you'd need around 20ft^3 after displacements ported.

well thats why i said suv\van just cause i know you would need a chit ton of space, but i thought someone would have tried it. yea people seem to really like them for IB but i cant do an IB right now so id like to toss 4 in my van

Sorry dont get over here much since they changed it. Profoudus told me about this thread. The box is 18.3 cubes before sub dis. with around 380 sq. inches of port tuned to 31. They are the single 8 ran at 2. Off of a Powerbass ASA 2000.1.I did an 143.4 @ 45 HZ.with no tuning. Just received a Massive audio P3000.1 (3k@2 for those who dont know). Its in a 97 astro van. it fits behind the second row of seats and about 3 inches above the window line.

well the plan is in motion now for 4 mj 18's i do belive it was either that or 1 18" btl but...i havnt gotten ahold of mark in the last few days but thats okay, im sure hes a busy guy so ill again tonite the single 15 BTL is just not enough need way more

I will say this 380 sq inches of port is to much they should be fine with about 200-300

Thats what I have mine in. A 97 astro.

i just ordered 4 MJ's for my explorer..running at 1 ohm off a modded HK4000D. probably at 2800rms. sealed at first but ill be building a ported box at the same time. ill use the ported box for special occasions but its too big to be practical for every day considering im aiming for 17 cu ft net so like...22 cu ft gross. ill keep pics
