still diggin around on front stage ideas on my system and was wondering if anyone is familiar and can explain thier sound with 2 models that have caught my eye. the first being an 8" Aurum Cantus AC-200MKII and the second being a 5" Jantzen JA-5006

    Jantzen does work with Dynaudio (looks like it too!) & I have seen a couple things about the Aurum on DIYAudio, but I have not heard either.

    Between those two, it'd be hard to ignore the greater cone area of the 8" :)

    ok maybe i didnt get that totally explained right, i'm looking at those pieces as part of a 3 way front stage. sorry for being unclear there

    Haven't heard the jantzens yet , but I have heard the aurum's . Excellent midbass , very detailed . Not so much midrange , but most aren't looking for midrange from an 8" driver :)
