Posted August 18, 200718 yr Since I'm in the company of fellow nitpicking SQueers I figure this is as good a place as any to ask this. When ripping .wav's with EAC, what do you guys consider the cutoff point in track quality below which you just delete the rip and try again?I find that most tracks end up 100% or 99.9%, but every so often there'll be ones below that.I'm using all the highest quality settings.
August 20, 200718 yr I'd love to only see 99+ and almost always get 100% but it is on my older scratched discs that create problems.
August 22, 200718 yr If you get a kickass cd rom drive and clean it's lens every few months, you'll get well above 80% all the time. If it's lower, delete the rip, trhow away the cd..... and use that as an excuse to go to the Record store and buy a bunch of new albums along with a replacement
