August 21, 200718 yr a ported box...shouldnt i be bandpassing them and tuning it to say a nice.....80hz? but yea thats exactly what i thought 1mm4k and 4 mj'sIf you've got the skills to build a properly tuned Bandpass enclosure go for it.They're loud as sin when tuned for the right sub. Otherwise they sound god awful.I would just go with a simple ported box.

Ports are firing rear subs firing up. should have it all going by this weekend

Ports are firing rear subs firing up. should have it all going by this weekend lol if i was going to do a bandpass for those subs i wouldnt tune to 80hz thats 2 high..i would do no higher than 65hz being that u have 18's i would go no higher than 50hz...but do ported if u can fit 20cubes perfect80
