Can anyone tell me how I can hook stuff up so I can play music through my laptop? My laptop has 1000's of songs from CD's and what not. Any receiver on the market can't top my laptop. Any way you could help me figure this out please do.

run it through the Aux. input on the back of the CD player if u have one. if not u can get an FM mod. and run it that way.

would it run from a single in my laptop to a dual output jack such as RCA? i.e 1-2 or? would it be a single cable?

yep.. one end is like a head phone jack.. other end are rca's, do you have an aux input on your headunit?
