pro60 crossover, the bass from the 15" treo ssx did this...i just soldered it back on, tested it, it worked, put my door panel back on, and it broke again. only the tweet plays. i think it came loose when i shut my door. i guess im gonna have to relocate the crossovers......which means running more wire....

Go active, problem solved.

Not like you've got a lack of amplifiers over there.

my closet is stocked with amps....

4 ma hk4000ds

1 powerbass xa3000d

2 punch150s

2 punch45s

1 digital audio crappy 2ch amp (not mine lol)

1 ma hk298 2ch amp

lol

whats a good 3 way crossover i should get? i didnt really want to run the wires thru the doors, but i guess im gonna have to....i should have never put the Boston crossovers in the doors....i think im gonna just sell the bostons and get something different and go active

Audiocontrol makes a good one. Pretty sure the 6XS is their basic 3-way without EQing or anything.

well the pro60s are going for sale.

im just gonna run active, but with something different. not sure yet, im gonna put something together. something louder than the pro60s. not eminence, maybe B&C though. any ideas?

While B&C is a step in the right direction, I wouldn't run drivers like that in a vehicle. Running a midbass that's meant to be horn loaded in a door gets you nothing.

Stick with drivers with more normal enclosure parameters, like Seas or Vifa midbasses. Maybe you can cram 8's in there?

8's wont fit.

lets start off with tweets. i need 2 tweets, and to compare to what i want, im pretty happy with the boston tweets, so similar to that would be fine. size wise, they HAVE to be a little less than 1.25" depth MAX, and 2" diameter MAX....thats what will fit in my stock tweeter locations.
