What is the SPL rating on the new DP 15"? Is it still around 92.8 db?

like the basket, what are the pros and cons of it??

Pros - unique, comes in 10"-21"

Cons - no vent holes (solved problem with ADC)

Are DP subs SQ subs that will rock the ground?

I'm waiting for the 18s... I'll be able to say how the do vs. MTs and DD 9500Gs in my setup :) Have the MTs now and will try out the 9500Gs in the meantime!

those things look like a beast! gez there huge!

ill wait for some video's!

Nice, guys, very nice indeed. I too like the cooling "pillars".

"Solved problem with ADC"? What problem with ADC?

One more question...what is the difference between the type of surround in the pic and the ones we are seeing on Soundsplinter drivers (appears to be a very tall rubber surround). I know looks can be deceiving, but the SS surround appears to have the capability of more excursion while keeping the max cone area possible.

More SPL related than SQ, but sound great, so most consider them to be "SQL"

There was no problem with ADC. You probably misinterpreted what I said. The basket had the problem with no vent holes, so we solved the problem by using ADC.

Ill let Nick chime in on the other Q

I don't know I've seen the SS driver you are talking about, but the taller type surround in some cases do have more X-max, most companies just use them to get more cone area on a driver.
