So, I will be running 2 subs off a 2k RF amp and also about another 1k watts to mids and highs. I will be doing big 3 and puttin a extra battery in the back (smaller one). Right now I have a 160 amp alt and a stock 730ampere battery. Are these going to be enough or will I probably have to upgrade them?

As to why it is a double post, I have no clue and apologize. Not to sure what happened on there...said some kinda flood issue, whatever that means.

1000 watts to "mids and highs"? What do you mean by that?

Are you going pimpedout97x style :)

lol, a lot more than likely. It is obviously not for SQ at all. We are going for sound like it is coming from everywhere...literally. The back panel is being pulled out and a new one is being fiberglassed to hold probably 4 to 6 6.5's with some tweets, probably 1 set of comps for each door, kick panels. 1k watts was a very high estimate, more along 600 or so. I shot out 1k watts to be on the safe side when it comes to planning on power upgrades and such.

Time being, we keep swithchen minds about what mids and highs to use. Right now we are lookin at Kicker, Pioneer Premium, Boston Accustics, and a few others.

We are just tryin to make it as loud as possible, ridiculously loud. We were brain storming today, or at least trying with what little we have, lol, and are gonna do the standard on the rear deck now in order to follow up the design of the car, a blue tribal design going in between the two. We way overshot with mids/highs and are re-evaluating it almost as i type.

You can come back now JimJ....
