obviously I think the quality is good, I run CDT......

I think the price on the 2nd link is awesome, I would have jumped on that. You're basically getting the upstage and rear fill for free, because that's the normal price on just the components. People on ROE buy $30 PA speakers and swear they're the best thing on earth, don't worry about those guys.

I've heard them on about 100 watts a peice, they aren't exactly HARSH.. I've heard MUCH worse. They sounded very good & loud, IMO.

My main CDT tweeters are aimed at the center, between the driver and passenger's head, and they sound better than any standard, under $100 tweeters I've had so far. They aren't harsh at all. I have the silk domes though, don't know what come with that set.

The upstage tweeters, which I have also, are on a volume knob, and are usually at about 1/4 of the way up, but even all the way up, they aren't harsh at all, just more tweet than I need.

I've never been amazed by CDT...midbass is very install dependent, but even in proper installs I wasn't impressed.

The "upstage" idea is bad, you should just run a set of tweets wherever it makes the soundstage sound best. It only takes one set of tweets for that :)

ok so i guess i didn't get ripped to bad overall (except in the first link it retail at 259.99) and i payed 300)

well both the component sets wil be in the door and kicks in pods. 1 set of tweets in the a pillars and one in the kicks.

the coaxial with upstage will be in the rear interior panel and tweets in the b-pillars
