Do realize that a real speaker will have crossover costs that are nearly equal and regularly greater than the driver cost. I wouldn't buy those MTX's for $15 more or less $150. A simple bookshelf will outdo them easily and can also be put on a stand to keep them away from your cats.

i understand the crossover costs but i doubt i will be willing to pay for them. i'm gonna shop around and see if i can find some older stuff. there's no reason i should or will, have to spend $500 plus box materials plus a nice set of stands.

Cost at Best Buy $ for $ won't yield good results either.

I'm gonna just shop there when I pick my new 50" TV and if something grabs my eyes and ears then I'm gonna get it. I still haven't found anything diy that id being willing to pay for.
