So I am going to get a 15" Mag and want to know the optimal size box to build for my trunk. My

MAX dimensions are as follows:

17 1/4 in. high

33 1/2 in. long

18 in. deep

I used the speaker calculator from BCAE that I found on a google search and it calculates

these numbers to 5.844 ft. ^3. Seems high to me, but??? The smaller the better, yet I

want it to hit lows as well as it can without sacraficing to much. I'm running a Sundown

1500D. Any assistance is much appreciated.

2.5 ft^3 will be perfect.

sup 528...listen to Electro...i think he's the owner of Stereo Integrity. But like i told you over on ca.com, 2.3 to 3.0 and i really wouldn't go more than 3 . with your dimensions using 3/4" material i'd go like 23" wide x 15.5" deep x 17" high...that would give you like 2.70^3 before sub...should be pretty close to 2.5^3 after sub displacement
