November 11, 200717 yr Author The specs for the Tempest-X are:Measured with Praxis @ Sea level, 55deg F with drivers broken-in for 8 hours with 25Hz sine wave. Signal level >2V so a relatively high test signal. Tempest-XRe: 3.65 Le: 0.9mHFs: 18.4HzQms: 3.4Qes: 0.6Qts: 0.51Mms: 200.0gCms: .37 mm/NVas: 340LSd: 806 cm^2BL: 11.86I'll be updating the site tomorrow to reflect these numbers. The primary difference is a softer suspension and a different surround. These came in at our original parameters unlike the first batch that we blew out.
November 26, 200717 yr I see that you say the wattage rating on those are a bit conservative...Can it take about 800 watts...I am looking for a setup to have for backup...My sundown saz-1500d puts out about 800 watts @ 2 ohm...

I'm not sure if you are thinking about a pair but these are dual 8 ohm drivers so you can only wire as low as 4 ohm with a single driver (2 ohm for a pair).
