want lots of bass but sound good as well

also how much power should i give them to make them perform but not ware them out too quick?

Whew, the main reason I said anything was that my box was tuned for 34hz and when you said 32 I wondered if I built it wrong, lol.

I have 2 BM 12" subs. They have the 12 spokes or whatever. I cannot find the T/S specs on these things for jack. The shop I'm having build my box wants these specs so that he can enter the information into a computer and get dimensions for a box (some rockford fosgate program).

Is there a way to get T/S specs for this? Or should I just tell him 4 feet ^ 3, tuned to 34? How big on the port?

Nick knows his drivers better than the shop. Do 4 ft^3 @ 34 hz, tell them the xmax is 16mm and they should be able to determine port area from that.

Thanks a ton for the info man. The box builder was telling me that I should tune it lower because I listen to rap, is that true? I told him what you said tho, hopefully it turns out ok. Just using these until the new mags come in anyways

Tuning lower will NOT be better for rap. A 34 Hz tune dips down to 20 Hz with zero loss in a car.

Don't worry about the specs, I just got ahead of him and told him to do it 4 ft ^3, tuned at 34, with a 40-48 inches port area. He seemed upset when I repeated what you said about not tuning lower than 34, but hey, can't argue with the creator lol. Thanks a ton for the help man, this is the reason I refer everyone to you guys! Mucho appreciated, I almost had a funky box for my BM's!
