December 27, 200717 yr Deadening is a total PITA. It takes hours of work. This is my attempt. Two layers of RAAMmat on the outer skin. This is after a layer of Ensolite on the outer skin and a layer of RAAMmat on the inner skin.Don't have one of it finished but I covered the openings and added another layer of mat and a layer of Ensolite.A Huge, Huge difference in mid bass. Knocking on these doors is like knocking on concrete.

December 27, 200717 yr Start high and work your way back. Start with 24dB slopes and ridiculous cross points and work your way in. It will take you hours to dial them in right, maybe days.

December 29, 200717 yr Go here and look. Read, pay attention. It's overkill, yeah, but he owns the company, so he was making an example.http://www.secondskinaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=846You need to do something similar, but not as extreme obviously.
