Posted December 11, 200717 yr anyone have experience with these? I was thinking about getting a 400.2 or 500.2 to power to power my front stage(once i can decide on a set) because they look like they have a lot of features for the money. Anyone know anything about these amps?
December 12, 200717 yr They are fine, but why are you buying an amp on features and what feature are important to you in an amp?To me a gain knob is all I care about, the rest is superfluous.
December 13, 200717 yr I had a 400.2 with a SXRC. I sold my 400.2 and bought a 900.2. They are great for going active and have lots of adjustablility. With the SXRC I can makes changes on the fly, and also switch between pre-sets with the press of a button.
December 13, 200717 yr Author Okay, it looks like they are very adjustable, but i doubt i need all that since i'm just getting passive components for now and all i want is adequate , clean sound to keep up w/a 15' icon and sundown sae1000d
