Posted December 15, 200717 yr I think that the rca's might possibly be going bad on my pioneer DEH P6400. I am wanting to replace it but i dont want to buy a crappy one. what do u recommend that fits my budget of $200-$250? I prefer the look of flip down faces i dont really like seeing a cd slot in the face. And maybe a remote like my pioneer has Edited December 15, 200717 yr by brokeitagain
December 15, 200717 yr wont have the same remote as the pioneer, but i really loved my Kenwood excelon KDC x789. not sure how the new ones are like, but yea:http://techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction...3&aff=72182 ^^^ thats a higher end version and its in your price range
December 15, 200717 yr There are a lot of good pioneeer's in the shop here that are in your price range.
December 15, 200717 yr Author Bluetooth capability would be a bonus too, i guess i would be able to make hands free calls with that right?Im not going to buy used, i have been screwed on someone elses junk so many times im not even exploring the idea of used, sorryAlso i have to buy locally no paypal and i dont use credit cards Edited December 15, 200717 yr by brokeitagain
December 15, 200717 yr then I'd up or down the budget, that is right in the middle of where anything makes sense.
December 15, 200717 yr Author Ok $0-$400 where will that get me? that has got to be a pretty big field
December 15, 200717 yr Either you step up to a 9887, 880prs, 7100 or down to an entry level as the steps in between don't really offer anything special. If you really want to shop a price range, just buy a Pioneer, Eclipse or Alpine that has the "features" you are interested in and you will be fine. There really isn't any sonic difference between the new entry level stuff from those brands and the units under the "pro" style ones that I listed. If it were me and $200 I'd would exclusively buy used.
December 15, 200717 yr Author i like the kenwood unit above but it says it needs a blue tooth adapter or something i want an all in one thing
