i've got avg, and ad-aware....tried hijack this(though to be honest, i couldn't find the file that avg points out) and it's still there.

also, i can't use system retore. says it can't restore to earlier date, even though it's turned on and there were (i turned it off and then back on to dump it as i read somewhere) restore dates.

find out what trojan it is and google the file name..you should beable to find a removal tool...

I would also run www.eset.com/onlinescan just in case AVG is missing something ...

downloaded hijack this, took a few moments to read what it found, and trashed the trojan!!

however, i will try that link you suggested jmac.
