Well, honestly, that 1/0 is going to be good for damn near 300 amps or more or less maybe. 2 runs of it would be more than enough for most daily systems. How much current do your amps crave?

haven't got them yet. but i was thinking that i'd have less than 200 amps of current draw from the sub and hi's amps.

one thing i never thought about. I have only a 75 amp alt. is it possible to have that much amperage draw with that little of an alt?

I'm not an electrical genius by any means, but 1 run of 1/0 would be fine for that, but make sure you have a nice battery, maybe two, and possibly look into a re-wound alt, or just a larger amperage one.

well i'm not really looking to change the alt in anyway, because that could void my cars warranty. I wouldn't mind adding a battery in the back tho. Altough i'm looking to keep from doing that. If i have to change the amps up much

just get a new HO alt and then if something ever happens just throw back on your stock one. its not hard at all, its just undoing a bolt on the bracket and putting the new one on. put the belt on and adjust the tensioner, and then plug back in the harness. and then of course your + wire to battery.
