if this is going to be a second battery and sitting in the trunk or so just run a line from front battery positive to the kinetik positive. then you can either ground the kinetik to the front battery or just ground it to the frame in the rear or where ever the kinetik is located.

if you are replacing your stock battery with the kinetik just hook it up like normal.

I'd do that, but I would also run a second line to the negative on the front battery to the rear battery.

You also need to put a fuse 18" from each positive battery post.
