Posted January 9, 200817 yr I've heard a lot of people complain about the same problem, but what do I do to solve it? If, I need to reground something, which wire/s go where? I'm not too knowledgeable about this nor did I install this on my own. My truck is an 06 Silverado
January 9, 200817 yr It is indeed a bad ground. As far as where to ground it to, thats up to you.Search around and try a couple of new spots until it goes away. And no, it's not just deck specific. A lot of other decks will have the same problem with a poor ground.
January 9, 200817 yr Author Cool. I had someone that knows what they are doing (10 years of install work) help me out. He's a hike away, plus I would rather not bother him if I can do it myself. Does anyone have a D3 and know what color the ground is?Thanks for the help guys.
