Last night when hooking up a friends system, after getting everything hooked up, the subs just didn't hit. The amp light turns on but nothing is happening.. Tried testing a different sub using different speaker wire but still nothing. What could be the problem?

Are you getting any signal through the RCA inputs? If the amp is on and not going into protection, and the subwoofer is wired properly really the only thing that could be wrong at that point is the input, or the amp is dead. Hopefully it's just bad RCA's or something unhooked.

We've checked all connections and everything is connected properly and nothing came unhooked. I'm going to test a different pair of RCAs sometime today since i got some in the mail. How can I tell if the amp goes into protect mode? I'm not really too sure.
