Posted January 27, 200817 yr Okay, Im not much of a box-builder. Nor do I know any of the concepts to box-building. I was wondering for my MAW-15's, Which I'm putting in a 4.0 ^3cu. ft. box sealed, When I get the box built does it need to be two independent chambers with 2 cu ft on each side or 1 big 4 cu ft. box. I wasn't sure what if that had an effect on the subs and/or their performance. Thanks in advance.~MadroX
January 27, 200817 yr It doesn't make any difference whatsoever for sealed applications, but I recommend doing 2 independent chambers.
January 27, 200817 yr i'd also recommend the independant chambers. offers a level of protection and the added bonus of bracing the box.wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
January 27, 200817 yr Personally I'd prefer a single enclosure, but there is a safety advantage in having them be separate.
