My friend needs a single 15 sub setup that will perform nicely off 750-1000 rms in 3 cube ported box. He is trying to spend 200$ or less on the subwoofer. Probably going to get slightly used or new, but most new are out of his range. Ive been thinking RE SX, FI Q, Fi SSd.. something along those lines. Would like your recommendations. Thanks

Well, i'm gonna assume he'll buy it new rather than used because i don't know what used subs go for so here we go -

Fi SSD ($209) u better tell him to pick up the change on the ground for this one, hehe

Alpine Type R

MB Quart Premium Series

Kicker Solobaric L7

Power Acoustik MOFO (i've never heard in person but have heard that these subs are geared more toward the 40-50hz range then the ultra lowend)

Soundstream Tarantula T4

Lanzar Optidrive

I thought the Soundstream T4 new was discontinued? And now they're doing the T5's?

Unless someone around has new ones sitting around?

ebay

I don't trust ebay to save my life. I wanna deal with someone I know. But to each his own. :)

Out of the other choices put up, I'd say the Fi SSD is a great choice.
