July 30, 200817 yr sounds like 2 a days, lolwell i have actually lost about 10lb's just from drinkin waterI am trying to do the water thing and cut out all pop/soda or whatever else anyone may call it. I am addicted to diet coke(save the laughs lol) but I have cut down to one or two a day compared to lets say....11 or 12.How often is enough to get in shape? 3 or 4 days a week doing cardio and abs? I've been wanting to start but lack the motivation.Powerlifting isn't for me. My dad tried getting me into it(big bench press power lifter) but not my thing.Skateboarding has done wonders for my legs but the beer belly is emerging and I have to lose it!

I've been wanting to start but lack the motivation.For cardiovascular improvements alone ... beginner guidelines are generally 1-3 times per week for 15-30 minutes per session. Walking, cycling, jogging, swimming, water aerobics, elliptical, and so on. As your fitness level improves the variables increase.
