February 10, 200817 yr All LCDs are going to have at least some backlight bleed just from the very nature of how they operate. I recommend purchasing one at one of the big-box stores (Staples, Costco, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.) as their return policies are generally superior to those of the online stores (no shipping costs, no restocking fees, etc.), so you can take it back w/o any hassle if it isn't acceptable ...
