Posted February 12, 200817 yr has anyone bench tested on of these I have heard on other boards that they compair in output power to a DD Z1 even though they are rated @ 3600 is this true? thanks
February 13, 200817 yr Author They're under rated quite a bit that's what I've heard do you know what they bench on a 12 volt set up
February 13, 200817 yr I'm working on building a nice load to be able to test them out...BUT, as far as the guts look, I'd say somewhere around 5k. On the inside it looks a lot like the AB 500.1.

February 13, 200817 yr What are your plans for it/them ? You should grab some from ScottieJ, on ca.com or keep your eye out on the spl forums, maybe you can score one even cheaper than Scottie's
February 13, 200817 yr I'd rather have one over a Z1 no matter what the power output was compared to it
February 13, 200817 yr My new subs will be dual 1 ohm - 1 sub per 40.1 @ 0.5 ohms. Going by my past 3 sub setups in the wall, I am guessing around 0.8-0.9 ohms with impedance rise playing music. Can't wait to see how that works out
