Posted August 24, 200421 yr Back home in upstate NY we did "freighter chasing." For those unfamiliar with the term freighter, it is a nautical term for "big ass boat." Anyways, you just run up next to them in your boat. Nothing big, but it is cool to see it for the first time. Here is my latest encounter while up there n vacation. I had to get far away to get the whole ship in the camera angle. We got withing 20 feet or so of her side. August 26, 200421 yr Holy crap that's big Biggest I've seen and been on were a couple of the Canadian Coast Guard boats ... amazing how big they are up close.- Steve
