Posted February 20, 200817 yr anybody ever buy a refurbished TV? In particular an LCD? I'm looking to pick up a fairly inexpensive 37" LCD and found some good deals on refurbished ones. They seem to carry full warranties, but this is an investment I want to last for a few years.

But my I suggest going to the manufacturers site and looking around there are many with refurbs on the manufac. site as well. You cant beat that and they come with a partial warranty as well. http://www.outlet.philips.com/http://www.secondact.com/here are a couple different places and sony has one as well. Z
