Posted February 22, 200817 yr I have 2 sd1v2 10" running on a 1000d. I like the sd1v2s and all but want a little more. Anyone experienced Kicker CVTs. If so will they hit harder than these sundowns? The sd1v2s are sq's, are the CVT's straight SPLs? Edited February 22, 200817 yr by gonpostal
February 22, 200817 yr Shallow subs aren't really ment to get loud. They're ment to give you some moderate bass in a smaller than average locationWhat kind of enclosure are the SD1v2's in? How much space do you have to work with?
February 22, 200817 yr [if mounting depth is an issue 5" or less the Pioneer shallow will get prewtty lud with some power. The best shallows Ive heard personally are the Illusion Audio carbon series. They make from a 10-15" with a sensitivity of 98 Very nice subs.
