Hey guys, I was looking at getting two of these and installing them in a blow through enclosure. I was wondering if any of you have had personal experience with them. What type of enclosure, volume, frequency? Also would an two orion 2500D's get the job done?

Im not a competitor I just really like to slam my sounds. I love the low end pain and all input would be greatly appreciated.

SS xxx are great subs...

but in my limited opinion... I think they would need more than a orion2500d each to really shine. But it would sure work....

not to mention they are kinda spendy... but If you can get em ... by all means go for it.

with 2 orion2500's I'd be looking at.... Fi audio... BTL's or BL's

a best buy for the $ ...kinda sub.

dont know if that helps much....

what are your goals....?

how much room are you working with...?

might help a little more.

my goal is really to just be loud, and low...i have about 14 cubes to work with so after all the displacement i could probably squeeze out 12 cubes...i know fi makes nice subs with great pricing just wanted to try something different...maybe ill do a single 15 XXX and buy a rockford t4k...

Ask Lord Baccus(Brian) on this forum about the SS XXX.

He has a 15" XXX in I believe it is a 6 cubic foot enclosure ported to 42Hz.

It was loud enough on two Sundown 1500D's to make the doors try and come off the hinges....I could just imagine what it's gonna do when he upgrades to two Sundown 3000D's.. :lickscreen:

And the low end....Omg could this sub put out some serious low end...
