Posted February 25, 200817 yr ok i have this amp and i want to run it at 2 ohms how do you wire 4 6x9s that are 4ohm to make an overall 2ohm load while using all 4 channels?http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=19342
February 25, 200817 yr You can't.You cannot make a 4 ohm speaker into a 2 ohm speaker. You can wire two speakers to one channel, but you cannot use all 4 channels.
February 26, 200817 yr You are going to need an amp that is 4 channel and is stable down to 1 ohm per channel so you can bridge them @2ohms per side but i cant think of any of the top of my heador a 2 channel amp that can output some power @ 2ohms per channel.
February 26, 200817 yr or you can add 2 more 6x9's.... two on front channels two on the rear channels, and that will with you 2 ohm stereo on all 4 channels..
