my tweeters are tyring to pump out way to many vocals

whats the easiest way to cut some lower frequencies?

I'm hoping its as easy as putting some capacitors inline with the tweeter

The easiest way would be to simply adjust the head unit or crossover if you had one ;)

ok i'm a dumby

i found the "bass blockers" on crutchfield

they have 1.2 kHz, 2.8 kHz and 5.6k Hz

I'm pretty sure the 1.2 kHz is too low

Aren't you already using crossovers, at least passives?

All the passives I've seen have been well above the midrange...

nope just the HU xovers

Search on ebay to see if you can just find a cheap set of component crossovers that someone isn't using. Like from a Pioneer or MTX etc cheap component set.

If you're on a budget and you just want a better blend out of stock speakers, this is the way to go. I've done it in a stock Civic with great success.

I have apair of passive kicker xovers... 4.5 khz @ 12dB/octave... look & work like new.

PM me if you want them.
