Hooking up a second battery is something I've never done. Do I run a wire from the starter battery to the secondary battery. Or do i run a wire from my alternator to the secondary battery. What kind of fuse do I use? More than 1 on each end?

Thanks

One on each positive termination and you can run power from either the front battery or the alternator

Ok ill do the battery since thats a WHOLE lot easier. What kind of fuse? 300A with 1/0awg?

is an isolator or relay required for this? Also, what is the main bennefit? Just being able to play without the car on? Doesn't the alt have to run twice as long to recharge both batteries?

An isolator only really gives you the benefit of playing the stereo with the car off and still being able to start the car after you're done.

Thanks, so whats the benefit of a second battery when the car is running?
