It is easy as hell. Do it once and get the gitters out. Everything is just clipped on. I suggest a panel puller, $15-$20. It will save your behind. Edited March 28, 200817 yr by Chris

This is a 2001 Maxima. The yelloowTop fit without issue in the stock location under the hood where it was for a short time. I did not order the car with Bose on purpose. I didn't wan the headache of removing that system. I actually grounded directly to the frame with the second battery grounded to the frame as well to get rid of the majority of the whine and noise. The Rainbow's were purchase from 6spdcoupe on www.caraudio.com aka Pearl96Max on www.maxima.org. If I can work out a deal with a potential customer, I plan on ripping out the box and firing the subs through the skipass area and porting them through the rear deck. It will be easy to finish sealing off the rear deck and won't require much cutting. I will post pics when the project gets under way. And when I get a new camera.
April 12, 200817 yr what group size is the yellow top cause my could not have fit because of the stupid fuse that was mounted on the power wire that conectts to the possative so i had to settle for a gel super start from o reilly bout the same as a optima just differnt style.

I hope to drop a pair of Kinetic 2400's into the redo as well and transfer the YellowTop to the front.
