what would be the perfect amp to use with an 18'' btl, i do not want to over power it.

its a dual 1 ohm

    anything that puts out 2k at 2ohms, maybe the zx2500 , or a crossfire amp

    over power a BTL...lol.

    your gonna want at least 2K, if you get a loaded BTL with all the upgrades you could bump up to 3-4K depending on how you use it. 3K is a lot of power to got to 3" coil, but most loaded BTL's seem to take 4K with ease, not constantly mind you, for burps and demoing...

    It would be quite painful to cruise around @ 4K...lol.

    I have a 15" BTL dual mag (not fully loaded) with a SUNDOWN SAZ-3000D and it is a quite satisfying settup!!!
