So I hook up the Alpine to test the Pre-outs today and upon powering it up, the face will not open,or angle at all. I press the buttons and it seems like the mechanism is either stuck or not catching. Anyone have this problem before or know how to remedy it?

    dude, i apologize....

    i thought i had it packed well enuff......i mean 13 pds of cardboard and peanuts is quite a bit!

    i guess not..... :(
