I've got an 06 RE XXX 12 which I was going to sell. Screw it...I'll just keep it. I am not really concerned with saving space. I'm looking for something to play with music more than for movies. It will be in a rather large room (my living room and kitchen are connected without a dividing wall).

Can anyone guide me as far as box size and tuning? I can do the rest. I'll be powering this with a Crown XTi 2000 (2000 watts into 4 ohms).

    A transmission line would be sweet for that :)

    As a bonus, while they're usually tall they don't take up a lot of floor space, especially considering the low-end response you get.
