March 31, 200817 yr Author well radio shack items are made by top brand manufacturs, ........ but yes it is an oild radio shack style amp.... my question is not where it came from.. but rather if anyone has ever used it and if i can get a decent sound from it.
April 1, 200817 yr Can't say that I have used that one for anything other than noise, but for $80 there should have been some better options.
April 1, 200817 yr Author help me... where could have have better spent my money?? im clueless in home audio.
April 1, 200817 yr It's not that old, I remember that being in the catalogs when they stopped having paper catalogs, probably around '01-'02 IIRC...well radio shack items are made by top brand manufacturs,Well, not for several decades If you have it, you might as well use it until something else comes along...I really wouldn't consider it a "keeper" as there are a lot better things out there for slightly more money. What are you looking to do?
April 1, 200817 yr Author well to be honest i had a few ideas for this amp... my first was....... to just make it a sub amp.. in my home office i have the following set up......1 laptop2 desk tops, 1 kenwood VR 505 for the reciver,2 yamaha moniors, for audio, 2 RCA book shelfs,1 8 inch powerd sub.... i have all the PC's on channels where i can select what pc i wish to have audio from.... but i have 2 10's that i figure i could take the output going to my powered subs.. go into this amp..... and then run these two 10's for a better bottom end.......2 second idea.... im house shopping.. and i will own a garage in the next year... i figured i could also just run speakers off it for my shop... or yard speakers for partys, or what ever!!
