Looking at sub manufacturer recommendations, box sizes for each sub can vary by quite a bit. I'm just curious what the difference is. I know that a larger box decreases power handling of the woofer, but is there any difference in sound? Is a smaller box more susceptible to peaking?

Sorry for the newb question - I'm trying to decide what will fit in the trunk. Thanks guys.
