Posted April 25, 200817 yr I just got a Denon DCT A100 and it didn't come with a manual or anything. I went to put it in and i saw that it has a few extra wires that I don't know what to do with. They are labeled as light, acc, aux in, and p. ant. What do these need to be connected to?Also, will I be able to use the same dash kit that I used with my old Pioneer HU?
April 26, 200817 yr Light is probably illumination, ACC is the accessory power wire, Aux in.. is Aux in, P. ANT is power antenna.
April 26, 200817 yr Author I mean I know what they stand for, but I don't know what to connect them to.
April 26, 200817 yr If i'm thinking correctly, you don't need to connect power antenna unless you have one, illumination is also probably optional as it just tells the headunit to dim when you turn your headlights on (although i believe it's a yellow wire.) Aux in and accessory don't need to connect to anything.
April 26, 200817 yr Illumination is usually orange. Thanks, I couldn't remember if it was yellow or orange.
April 26, 200817 yr Author I got it working, and it sounds amazing. I didn't know coaxials could sound this good.Anyone know where I can get a dash kit and a trim ring for a Ford Ranger?
