I got my box design, I got the sub I want in mind. (Fi BTL 15''), I got the Big 3 finished.

Getting a free yellow top optima battery.

In the works of a 200amp alternator.

Will a 200amp alternator run a SAZ-3000D amp with/without ease? I want to make sure that this setup will not stress my cars electrical system if I have everything that I listed above.

I would like to make this my daily system and enter small competitions.

Comments much appreciated.

Thanks,

-Curt

the yellow-top would be a fine starter batt, and the 200a alt will be sufficient. If you leave it at that, I'd say you can run that amp at high volume for all of 30 seconds. If you're lucky, that batt only has 850 cc amps. you really need about 3-4k amps to be able to play a 3000d and be able to actually play it daily with music non-stop. like two kinetik hc2000's or something to back it up. Otherwise your play time will be very limited. So alty fine, but batts you need big upgrade. and also check out missinglinkaudio.com for a voltage regulator for your alty, you want to make sure your batts are getting fully charged. After all that (I know not cheap), you will be able to push that amp pretty hard.
