Alright, so I'm trying to plan out my car system and ive ordered my subs/amps.

The subs are 1x 18" FI BTL and 2x 12" FI BTL's. I have a 4 door dodge stratus and I was planning on removing the back seats where I would put the 18" in a 7'-8' cu ported box.

The two 12"s would go in the trunk area in a single ported box (can do two seperate boxes if that would be better).

The trunk/cab would be connected due to the removal of the back seat.

My question is, would this be a very stupid thing to do?

Im VERY new at these things and I apologize if it's a rediculous idea.

Also, if it isn't a good idea, what would be?

And last, what would be good places to have the ports/woofers facing? Both boxes are ported.

Thanks to anyone that can help me out, I know theres alot of questions

yeah, don't mix. Unless you're planning on using the 18 for 0-30 hz and the 12's from 30-80 hz in a very hifi setup (which the interior of a Dodge Stratus with one box in the backseat and one in the trunk is not), you're just building a frivolous Frankenstein's monster. Sell them all and get two 15's or something and just put both in the trunk.
