Posted October 10, 200420 yr well about a week ago my 15' mag started to play periodically. this has continued and every morning it turns on for about five seconds then turns off for a couple minutes then back on and so on throughout the day it will turn on and off periodically. nothing is wrong with the connections and i know it's not the sub or it wouldn't be playing. i assume it's something to do with the amp which is an audison srx 650 watt amp. is it clipping or what and do i need to return this amp to it's authorized dealer or what please help somebody.

Check and re-check all of the connections going to the amp...sounds like something is loose.
October 12, 200420 yr Low impedance? Do you have it wired in Series or Parallel?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>If it's not impedance..I'll guess RCA's.....
October 12, 200420 yr Author so none of you think it's a problem with the amp?....shows how much the best car audio shop near me knows...they said it is a problem with the amp. should i just have them check all connections and everything since they installed everything?

October 12, 200420 yr Author If it aint gonna cost anything for them to do that, sure...If it will...I'd do a little troubleshooting first...troubleshooting? please expand and give me some things I could check by myself and where they would be located...please keep in mind I have never installed nor do I have any knowledge about installation of this stuff so be as detailed as possible. If you need to know what wire or anything like that just ask as I do know that much. Help is greatly appreciated guys thanks.
October 13, 200420 yr well it probably does have something to do with the amp. Whether it's internal or just loose connections on the outside is what we'll find out. Does it go into protect mode when it shuts off? What are the ratings for the amp, and how do you have the sub wired? How long have you had the sub and amp together?
