:eek5wavey: Whats up peeps. Im in the market to upgrade my current system (well atleast the sub). Running a 15"FiQ, 3.5cuft 30hz, off a crossfire vr1000d. I love my sub SQ is great and hits suprisingly hard for an SQ sub, just that the output level just isnt cutting it anymore. Thought about adding another Q but space is somewhat an issue, dont want to cram dual 15's and not get the most out of them. So im looking for a replacement. I want to stick to a single sub setup. I know that i need a high power sub so these are my current options. (Adding anouther crossfire amp eventually)

1)Fi BTL 15"

2)RE XXX 04-05 models 15"

3)Audioque Hd3c 15"

4)Memphis Mojo 15"

I know i will be losing SQ with some of the subs mentioned but i think ill be okay as long as its not a total loss! listen to many Rap, hiphop, r&b.

Im open to all opinions especially different subs that i have not mentioned. Also do you guys think i can get away with a single 12".

Thanks

Tune higher first, wrong tuning for the type of music you like. A box is ALWAYS step number 1.

Thanks for the reply. I did think about getting a different box. I dont think a higher tuning would make that big of a difference to me. Kept the tuning sort of low to keep a good low-end extention. Ok ill try and see if i can fit a bigger box 4cuft(2000 Taurus). What should i tune it to???

If that fails i would still like input on subs. Ill just have two boxes to play with the new sub.
