Posted May 13, 200817 yr Hey Friends... I just wanted to know how do you have your music hooked up? Are you running your wires from the battery or from the positive on the alternator? Right now I have 2 TC Sound 18' Ultra lLMS with a 200 amp alternator one red top batt one 1400 kinetik and 4 hc2000 kinetiks with one IA40.1 amp waiting on the other one. My plan is run two or three lines with the big three already done. I am trying to keep my volts up pass 13.5 when the bass hits. Please advise me on what to do. Do I need better batteries or 16v batteries. Do I need a Isolator or not when hooking up four or more batteries? I will be flying back to the states in two days and if some one could help me out and show me what I need to do that would be great. I will be in Charlotte, NC area for about 21 days. I would like to start putting my truck together when I get back to KuwaitPlease Help Thanks Friends
May 13, 200817 yr you don't need 16v batteries, and definitely hook up the amp's power wire to the battery, not the alternator.
