Posted May 28, 200817 yr Is it possible to build a fiberglass enclosure out of your whole trunk? I have 2 subs that need 6cft each but my trunk only holds 13cft .Right now my box only has 3.2cft each chamber.so it about half of the correct spec. it slams but it the biggest box i could jam into my trunk. looking for alt to keep both subs.
May 28, 200817 yr You can build one to use up the entire trunk. Just use FG only for the panels that are curved and mdf for the flat panels.
May 28, 200817 yr Author I"ve seen people do boxes in seprate corners of the trunk before.just not the whole trunk. I dont know to build the center divider or top plate,probally do glass the bowl of it. Any web sites that have done whole trunk boxes?

May 28, 200817 yr I know how it could be done, it would be a pain in the ass, and an even bigger pain in the ass when it came time to remove it. If it sounds good now, why change it ?
