I've got an email with an .xls attachment, but it's not the usual attachment which you can download. It looks like it's "embedded" in the email. I tried to save it as text and open it with excel, but it doesn't work

Anyone know how I can download it ?

Wouldnt that have corrupted the excel format?

When you hit save, that drop down menu right below the filename in the save as or save to window, it will let you choose various formats to save as.

Hit the drop down menu and choose all files *.*

This will keep the extension file .xls

Tried that but excel showed some gibberish

I managed to download it. I installed Multi-mail notifier, forwarded the email to one of my other accounts and checked the email through the program.

What email program was the original sent to OUTLOOK, GMAIL ??
