i have 2 bl15's and a saz 3000d

my box is somthing like 6 foot after displacement....... i really wanna go 2 15 btls and add another 3000d

and i have 4 5x7 alpine type r comps and a sax 100.4.... i would like more output,

goals... well... im bored... i want more.....

im open to talk about diffrent subs and diffrent ideas.

rap, hard hitting low ground raping rap...... and some rock here and there,.

BTL's will get low. There is a guy that lives around here that drives a Range Rover with 2 15" Fi BTL's powered by a Powerbass 4000.1 mono-block with 3 HC Kinetik 2400's and a 4 channel Soundstream amp running CDT components.

It's in a 10 cubic foot box tuned to 32Hz he claimed...and it straight murdered the lows. I sat inside the truck and it was sick loud....

At 32Hz, he metered a 150.xx something.

I told him, why dont you increase your tuning, and add another mono-block Powerbass 4000.1...and he said its in the works, should be ready by middle June with the 2 amps.

His CDT components sounded freaking awesome, from the 10 minutes I listened to it, they are very clean, crisp, and nice.

Hell I have the Digital Designs component set powered by a Memphis 4 channel and they get loud and they say clean and crisp.

I know you have the BL's, and I wanna hear your ride..but if you want to upgrade..go with the BTL's...or Robert that lives here is having awesome luck with the Audioque HDC3 12's on 2 Audioque 2200D amplifiers.

Honestly... 3 12" Fi Q's and a 3000d would probably be all of the lows a man could ask for.

The Q has the most linear x-max and is the most efficient of the three choices presented.

:+1:

will sound much better than a btl as well

3 Q 12's will be easier to fit in your trunk too. You're starving those BL's as it is now.

do you think with a larger box i will get more output?

i would like a new box anyhow... theone i have at this time is single 3/4 no bracing

bigjohn i would belive you would like the q's i got two in a ported enclosure and they get extremely low you should see these thing move when its hittin lows

Unless you are just chasing SPL, I would go Q.

But in the end, you will have to make yoru box much much bigger for more output that you can really notice.
