I have never used them or known anyone that does but here is what I found

A guy around here has a 15" SPL Audio subwoofer running on a kicker 1000.1 amplifier.

In my opinion, its just like any other general run of the mill subwoofer. Looks different but thats about it...

Sounds ok, but it may be the box that it is in, so I can not say it will not perform well in the optimal enclosure designed for it.

I've heard their amps aren't great. So the subs probably aren't too different.
