June 9, 200817 yr You realize you need 2k-3kwrms to power it right? There is hardly anything in that is reasonably priced that produces said power @ 2 ohms.The only one I can think of off the top of my head right now that would work is the Kicker KX2500.1. It does well over 2500w @ 2 ohms.

June 9, 200817 yr Don't forget you can strap 2 amps together to get a stable 2 ohm output.That option is not only cheaper usually but also can obtain more power than a 2500w amp as well.2 AQ1200ds strapped together is just over 2,900w and just under $500 shipped.

June 9, 200817 yr Author sundown 1500 at .5 ohm possible? with out "mods" or w/e?throw anything out here guys. the kicker is looking to cost me anywhere from $600-800 so im looking for other options aswell.
